In commemoration of its 30th anniversary, the Okelele Youth League (OYUL) organized a free medical outreach at the Kankatu Market in Ilorin, benefiting hundreds of community members.
The event, which took place on [date], provided medical checkups, drugs, and eye treatments to those in need. Modinat Abdullah, one of the beneficiaries, praised OYUL’s efforts, saying, “I’m grateful for this initiative. It’s a big relief for me and my family.”

Fatimah Lawal, who received eye treatment, shared her struggles in accessing medical care before the outreach. “I’ve been trying to get treatment for a long time, but I couldn’t afford it. Thank you, OYUL, for this opportunity.”
Abdulateef Elesinmeta, Chairman of the committee, expressed gratitude to the Emir of Ilorin, Governor AbdulRahman, and the Ministry of Health for their support. He commended the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Aminat Ahmed, and Dr. Oba Olayinka, one of the medical personnel, for their contributions.
Dr. Olayinka emphasized the importance of regular health checkups and urged people to take advantage of such initiatives. He praised OYUL for their commitment to community service.
