Gadaff Hails Gov AbdulRazaq’s Landmark GDP Initiative, Commends Commitment to Transparency

Hon. Sulaiman Lekan Gadaff, a prominent grassroots politician and advocate for transparency in governance, has commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his approval and initiation of Kwara State’s first-ever Gross Domestic Product (GDP) computation and compilation exercise since the state’s creation in 1967. This groundbreaking move is a testament to the Governor’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and economic development.

“I wholeheartedly commend Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for this historic initiative. The computation and compilation of Kwara State’s GDP will provide a clear and accurate picture of our economic standing, enabling better planning, resource allocation, and policy formulation,” Hon. Gadaff stated. “This exercise underscores the Governor’s dedication to transparency and his vision for a more prosperous Kwara State.”

Hon. Gadaff emphasized that the GDP exercise will not only highlight the economic strengths and potentials of Kwara State but also identify areas that require improvement and investment.

This, in turn, will attract investors, create jobs, and improve the overall standard of living for the people of Kwara State.

“The stakeholders’ meeting scheduled for Saturday is a critical step in this process, ensuring that all relevant parties are involved and that the exercise is thorough and inclusive. I urge all stakeholders to participate actively and contribute to this vital project,” he added.

Hon. Gadaff also lauded the Governor for fostering an environment of open dialogue and collaboration. “Governor AbdulRazaq’s leadership style, which prioritizes inclusiveness and stakeholder engagement, is commendable. It reflects a government that is truly for the people and by the people,” he said.

In conclusion, Hon. Gadaff called on all Kwarans to support this initiative and remain optimistic about the state’s future. “Let us all rally behind this noble cause and work together towards a brighter and more prosperous Kwara State. With transparent and data-driven governance, we can achieve great strides in economic development and social progress.”
