The Kwara Youth Development Forum, led by Hon. Yusuf Isiaq Mogaji, has distanced itself from planned protests, violence, and vandalism in the state. In a press release, the forum urged Kwara youths to shun destructive actions and instead engage in dialogue and constructive engagement to address their concerns.
The forum commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq’s efforts in investing in youth development, citing various innovations and empowerment programs. They encouraged youths to embrace the government’s agenda and be patient, as the diversification of subsidy funds to other infrastructures takes time to regulate the economy.
The forum appreciated the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq, and other parliamentary committees in developing Nigerian youths. They called for collective efforts to build a brighter future for Kwara and Nigeria through peaceful and constructive means.
With the theme “Youths are Heroes, not Thugs, be a good citizen,” the Kwara Youth Development Forum is promoting a positive narrative, encouraging youths to be agents of change through constructive engagement.
