Sen Mustapha Set to Distribute assorted Food items to 8,000 Constituents

Barely one month after distributing multimillion-naira food commodities to thousands of constituents in Kwara Central, the Senator representing the district in the National Assembly, Senator Saliu Mustapha, will begin the distribution of assorted food items to members of his constituency.

According to a statement released by the Senator’s media assistant, Nasif Sholagberu, the gesture is aimed at supporting the federal and state governments in further alleviating the current hardship in the country.

The food items, which include maize, sorghum, millet and other edibles, will be distributed to no fewer than 8000 indigent members of his constituency.

It would be recalled that the Senator, who is also the chairman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, had earlier in the week urged his constituents to remain calm and patient with the federal government led by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, promising that the gains of the president’s reforms would soon be felt by Nigerians.

The Senator reiterated his commitment to the welfare and well-being of his constituents.
